How do I properly care for my candle?
When lighting for the first time, burn for at least 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours. Always trim the wick before each use to 1/4 inch or less to reduce soot. Due to the natural properties of our candles, some initial tunneling may occur. This does not affect the performance and typically resolves as the candle burns down to the halfway point.

My Shophouse candle does not smell as strong as other candles.
We use only pure essential oils and botanical extracts in our candles, which means they give off a softer, balanced aroma that gently scents your space.
